Your First Visit to Our Clinton Practice

first visit imageOn the first visit you can expect to be pleasantly greeted by name and given detailed instructions for filling out our simple health forms (if you haven't done so already).  We will also ask to scan your health insurance card and your photo I.D.

After these items are completed, you will be escorted by one of the Chiropractic Assistants to the examination room for a personal consultation with Dr. Cluver where she can get to know you and your health history.

The consultation is followed by a complete spinal / nervous system exam that includes a sEMG scan and X-rays (if appropriate).  If you have presented to the office in discomfort most likely electric stimulation and moist heat will be applied to the affected area at this time (if appropriate) for 10 minutes.

Lastly, it is time to secure your Report of Findings appointment for the next business day to learn if we can help (if we can't we'll tell you that too), how long it will take, and what the financial responsibilities will be for care.

Please allow about 30-45 minutes in the office for the first and second visits.  Subsequent visits will most commonly last 5-15 minutes.

Dr. Cluver Asks some important questions of interest to Clinton residents - Chiropractor Clinton Dr. Cluver Asks...

Could a chiropractor put an end to bedwetting?
If bladder control seems elusive, consider chiropractic. If spinal bones are interfering with nerves that control your child's bladder, plastic sheets, alarms and other methods simply add to the embarrassment. Clinton parents are often amazed (and relieved) that chiropractic can be so helpful. Learn more.
Are chiropractors just concerned with the spine?
Our interest in the spine is because it covers the major communications conduit between your brain and your body. As a Clinton chiropractor my job is to locate areas (usually along the spine) that interfere with proper nerve communications to and from your brain. Chiropractic adjustments help restore nervous system integrity. In this way, chiropractic care can affect the function of your entire body.
